About

Hi! I’m Claire Eva, known affectionately as “Coach Claire”. I’m a creative whose work is grounded in values of integrity, compassion, gentleness, self-awareness, and intention. My coaching practice is built on the foundation of deep, transformative coaching conversations, offering a safe and reflective space for my clients to gain new perspectives, shift their mindset, and set practical, achievable goals.
My journey into the human sciences and my passion for uplifting others began during her five-year tenure at the University of Stellenbosch, where I discovered my love for psychology and personal development. It was also during this time that I experienced life coaching firsthand, a transformative experience that reshaped my path and led me to pursue a career in positive psychology and life coaching.
After completing my degree in Psychology and Sociology, I went on to achieve my advanced accreditation in neuropsychology-based life coaching through Brainwise, Mastery through Neuroscience. Committed to continuous growth, I regularly participate in international coaching conferences, maintaining a learner’s mindset. My focus remains on helping others achieve transformation, much like the life-changing impact coaching had on me.
A strong advocate for creative and physical challenges, I integrate my values of balance, personal growth, perseverance, and vitality into my daily life. I have participated in local art exhibitions such as the Splat ‘n That and I’m a firm supporter of South African artists. Additionally, my dedication to fitness is a cornerstone of my lifestyle. I’ve completed numerous physical challenges, including the Virgin Active 94.7 Ride Joburg Cycle Challenge, annual CrossFit competitions, and the Warrior Race series.
I’m known for my compassionate, gentle, and intentional approach, guiding my clients to face challenges with clarity and confidence. My holistic method combines passion with purpose, embodying integrity, empowerment, and a commitment to making a meaningful, long-term impact. Life coaching is not only my profession but my calling, as I strive to help others achieve lasting transformation in both their personal and professional lives.

Philosophy
With the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years, I’ve designed a very specific, neuroscience-based coaching journey that focuses on creating a safe, gentle space to think deeply and be heard fully. To slow down and bridge the gap between where you are now, and where you aspire to be. With an extremely personalised approach, we have powerful coaching conversations for focused thinking, centred around self-discovery, new perspectives, solutions and self-empowerment with a long-term perspective. It is our birthright to wake up with a sense of purpose, clarity, intention and excitement each morning.
Understanding the Coaching Journey
If we had to understand the coaching journey using the metaphor of sailing the seas, let’s take a moment to imagine our journey:
2 SHIPS PASSING
We are 2 ships passing each other. Your ship has crossed paths with mine, asking for direction to your treasure island. Our treasure islands are different, because no 2 humans are the same, but I have the navigation system in place to help you navigate the journey.
PREPARING FOR THE JOURNEY
We spend time preparing your ship. I give you a gift: your own, unique compass that will direct you to your True North. We map out your territory & get clear on your direction: Your treasure island; your purpose.
SETTING SAIL
It’s time now to raise your sails & courageously take the wheel. The wind has picked up perfectly, you & your ship are fully equipped for any storm, desert island or iceberg, & you have a ship beside you for support & guidance. Let’s Sail together!

“I was uncertain going into a value finding session with Claire as to what I would get out of it. Following a casual conversation with guiding questions, she provided me with a comprehensive and insightful list of values and traits, many of which have been invaluable in helping me understand myself better. Claire provided a safe space for communication where I felt safe to be vulnerable and share”.
